The SNES version features a few changes from the Arcade original, including censoring. It was originally released for the Arcades in 1990 and was later ported to the Super Nintendo in both Japan and the US in late 1992/early 1993. versions and make very little use of the expansion sound, if any.Īkumajou Densetsu and Gimmick sound great with custom mappers, though there's also a NTSC patch for the EU Gimmick to make it match the US prototype with other sounds replacing the expansion sound. The Combatribes is a brawler game developed by Technos Japan, the creators of Renegade and Double Dragon. Clu Clu Land and Ice Climber FDS don't have this issue since they seem to be direct conversions of the Vs. system conversion doesn't play with ear piercing, off key sound on the Everdrive. ![]() There's also a hack available for Vs Excitebike to run on the Everdrive. Definitely recommend Nestopia for editing header info.Īnother thing is that the FDS sound is off to the point where the NES Gyruss is actually recommended to play over the FDS version using this cart. Holy Diver needs extra header info to run (extended iNES with a sub mapper of 3) due to having an odd mapper that is only used for two games with very different mapping schemes. Sky Kid JP has both the wrong mapper (as with many Namco Games, the header lists mapper 4 (MMC3) instead of mapper 206 (Namco 106)) and mirroring listed. One thing is that some roms in the No Intro set have the wrong header info.
